Six men were arrested and drugs and cash worth almost €500,000 were seized when gardaí raided two houses in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin overnight.
Heroin with a street value of €300,000 and €190,000 in cash were seized in a search of two houses in the Ballyfermot area shortly after 9 p.m.
Six men, all from the Ballyfermot and Ronanstown area, were arrested and are being detained in Ballyfermot and Clondalkin stations.
The men are being held under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and can be held for seven days before being released or charged.
