Garda treated for injuries

A garda was treated for injuries to his arm following an incident involving a stolen car early yesterday morning. Gardai were attempting to intercept the car in Clondalkin when they were forced to take evasive action and their car hit the kerb. One garda suffered a fractured elbow and was treated in hospital. The driver of the car, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was arrested.
