Garda appeal over alleged rape in bar

A number of people have responded to a Garda appeal the Garda for anybody who was in a Dublin city-centre bar early on Thursday to come forward following an alleged rape. The gardai yesterday continued their investigations into the attack on a 17-year-old girl in the washroom of the George, a bar and bistro in South Great George's Street, just after 3 a.m. She was taken to the sexual assault unit of the Rotunda Hospital.
