Galway’s championship campaign rolls on having registered a facile victory over Wicklow at Aughrim this afternoon.
Galway dominated the opening half as the Wicklow defence struggled to contain the experienced Galway forwards.
Alan Kerins punished complacency in the Wicklow full back line with a well executed goal after 20 minutes.
John O'Mahony’s side led 1-9 to 0-3 at the break.In the second half, Galway turned on the style and Kieran Comer netted early on.
Wicklow replied with a Tommy Gill goal, however, the inspirational Ja Fallon put the game out of Wicklow’s reach with a late Galway goal.
