Moscow - Siberian medicine-men known as shamans have told believers to bring gifts of vodka for their gods to a big gathering tomorrow, but to leave local moonshine at home.
Shamans, who hold sway over many indigenous people in Siberia and elsewhere in northern Asia with a mixture of beliefs based on magic and otherworldly spirits, insisted "katanka [local moonshine] is excluded because its quality leaves a lot to be desired", a local news agency said.
