A number of aircraft mechanics and supervisors with Aer Lingus who transferred to TEAM Aer Lingus in the early 1990s and later returned to the airline have taken High Court proceedings against Aer Lingus.

They are seeking damages and a number of declarations.

They claim the airline failed to pay them remuneration and other benefits to which they were entitled on various dates in the 1990s during which they were available for work.

The hearing, before Mr Justice Kearns, continues today.
