Five British men held in jail in Saudi Arabia have been released, according to reports today quoting their lawyer.
The Briton were held over allegations they they were involved in a spate of car bombings in the strict Islamic kingdom.
They strenuously denied the claims, but two had been sentenced to death by beheading.
The lawyer reportedly said the five men and a Canadian imprisoned with them had been granted clemency and had left the country today.
