Kinshasa - Firing squads executed 21 people in the Democratic Congo capital of Kinshasa yesterday on charges of murder and or/armed robbery, state radio and witnesses reported. The executions were the first in the capital since President Laurent Kabila toppled veteran dictator Mobutu Sese Seko in May.
