Members of the UUP delegation to the FF Ardfheis in the RDS were having a drink at the bar on Saturday afternoon when they were approached by a woman seeking signatures for the establishment of a new bank holiday to honour the patriots of 1916.
Steven King and Prof Paul Bew declined to sign, but the woman would not give up. "Go on, go on" she urged "aren't youse members of Fianna Fail?" "We certainly are not," King told the startled woman.
