Eleven people have died in an explosion on a bus after passengers attempted to cook food using a gas cylinder.

Two others have been injured in the explosion near a Moscow market.

The driver and one other person escaped through the front door of the burning bus, while the others apparently ran to the back door, which did not open.

The chartered bus was bringing traders to Moscow's Izmailovo market from the Krasnodar region, 750 miles south of the capital.
