SYDNEY - An Australian politician Mr John Bailey, is attempting to revive legal euthanasia in the Northern Territory by amending local laws to carry only a minor fine for helping a terminally ill person to die.

Last month, the Australian national parliament overturned the Northern Territory's voluntary euthanasia law - the world's only assisted suicide law.
