Esso Ireland is to create 200 new jobs with a 70 million investment extending its food and shopping facilities.
With 41 service stations around the country, the company says the investment will be used to develop more cafe-style services in garages, making it the largest roll-out of the brand in Europe.
The investment is part of Esso's new convenience retailing and cafe brand –'On the Run'.
According to Esso, 'On the Run' will feature an enhanced convenience stores offering, as well as internet access and ATM's in some of the stations.

Esso Ireland chairman Declan Collier said the investment demonstrates the company's faith in the Irish economy and its potential for continued growth.
