A man in his 20s was killed last night when his car collided with a lorry on the CorkBandon Road. The accident happened at 7.10 p.m, at the townland of Tooreen. He was brought to University College Hospital in Cork, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The lorry driver was uninjured.
