Copenhagen - Denmark is due to join Europe's family of wine-producing nations when its wine is licensed for export by the EU, the country's Food, Agriculture and Fishing ministry announced yesterday.

The European Commission will today allow 15 Danish wine-growers to export their production. However, it stopped short of allowing them to include the year of production and the grape type on their labels.
