Telephone numbers are to be changed in the Waterford and New Ross areas affecting more than 20,000 residential and business customers. The changes will result in all customers in the south east area having a six digit number.
In New Ross, telephone numbers starting with 2 will be prefixed by a 4. In the Waterford area, telephone numbers beginning with 5 or 7 will be prefixed by a 3 or 8.
