A field of 17 was declared today for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe-Lucien Barriere on Sunday.
The leading contenders for the Longchamp showpiece enjoyed mixed fortune when the draw was announced.
Godolphin's Sakhee, heading the British challenge and likely to go off favourite for the 12-furlong contest, was handed an unfavourable wide berth in stall 15.
Foreign Affairs, supplemented by Sir Mark Prescott yesterday, fared little better when he was handed stall 13. Sir Michael Stoute's Little Rock is on his immediate outside with French Derby winner Anabaa Blue widest of all.
Aidan O'Brien's Rothmans St Leger hero Milan starts from stall one, with Stoute's Golan and Michael Jarvis' Holding Court ideally positioned in six and seven.
That will come as a relief to Golan's big-race jockey Kieren Fallon, who has stressed all week the importance to his mount of a low draw. Two fancied fillies, Aquarelliste and Diamilina, rub shoulders in four and three respectively.
