The body of a newborn baby boy has been found in a stream in Britain, it has emerged.
Officers were called to the stream in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, yesterday afternoon after an off-duty policeman reported seeing a bundle floating in the water.
Specialist underwater search team divers were called in and last night recovered a package which contained the body of a white baby boy.
Police say they will not speculate as to the cause of death of the child, and are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.
