A dramatisation of Bloody Sunday has won a prestigious award ahead of being screened on Television this evening.

Bloody Sunday, starring James Nesbitt, shared the World Cinema Award at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.

The award was jointly won with The Last Kiss.

Bloody Sundayis based on events surrounding the brutal killing of 13 unarmed and innocent civilians by the British army in Derry's Bogside in 1972.
