San Sebastian - Spanish police have arrested nine suspected ETA activists in a massive sweep against the Basque separatist group, Spain's Interior Minister, Mr Jaime Mayor Oreja, said yesterday.
The nine are suspected of carrying out a series of attacks, including a car bombing that killed two policemen last August in the northern town of Sallent de Gallego.
