The Minister for Education, Ms Bhreathnach, yesterday gave the go ahead for a new £250,000 heating system for the Kilmore West schools Scoil Fhursa and Scoil Ide in north Dublin.
The schools had been seeking funding for a number of weeks to solve an ongoing heating problem. They are to invite tenders immediately to carry out the upgrading work.
