Washington - American mothers would command a salary of more than half a million dollars a year if they were paid the market rate for all their contributions in the home, according to a new study.
The report by Edelman Financial Services in Fairfax, Virginia, came up with an annual salary of $508,700 dollars - not including retirement or medical benefits - for the multitude of tasks most mothers are asked to do.
