Milan-based Irish painter and textile artist Nuala Goodman ( nualagoodman.com) studied at NCAD and has worked for fashion label Romeo Gigli, designed a watch for Swatch and created boxes for Italian accessories company Alessi. Her latest project is art as upholstery, a collaboration with Italian furniture company Moroso (moroso.it).
Inspired by classical gardens, the limited-edition pieces have been upholstered in Nuala's hand-finished fabrics. Gardens created by Nuala Goodman for Moroso is at Minima ( minima.ie, tel: 01-633 7716), the Waterfront Building on Hanover Quay, from June 27th.
