ZOE Developments has secured planning permission for a mixed development of shopping and apartments at 1/5 Jervis Street and 57/60 Strand Street Great Dublin 1. The four-storey over basement block will have more than 40,000 square feet of retail space at street level, 42 apartments and a car-park at basement level.
In north Dublin, the planners have refused Doyle Hotels permission to provide an additional 20 bedrooms in a new roof-top floor at the Skylon Hotel, on Upper Drumcondra Road.
The owners of the Blackrock Clinic, at Rock Road, Blackrock, have been luckier, securing permission for two additional floors plus a penthouse floor.
The planners are currently considering a planning application from Kivaway Ltd of 15 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2, to change office space at the former Harcourt Street railway station into a bar and restaurant.
In west Dublin, Maplewood Homes has sought permission to provide 178 homes at Ballycullen. Mennolly Properties has just secured approval for 191 houses at Huntstown, Mulhuddart, Co Dublin.
