In Blackrock, Lisney fetched £3.1 million at auction yesterday for Tanrego, Avoca Avenue, a substantial five-bedroom Victorian house with a detached coachhouse. Two bidders chased the property after bidding opened at £2.3 million (€2.92m) and it was declared on the market at £3 million (€3.81).

Elsewhere in south Dublin, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 4 Mather Road North, Mount Merrion, was withdrawn by Terry Halpenny, which is seeking in the region of £460,000 (€584,079).

HOK Residential fetched £305,000 (€387,270) at auction for a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 1 Upper Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan.

A four-bedroom detached house, Priory Lodge, at Priory Avenue, Stillorgan, was withdrawn by Lisney which is seeking £850,000 (€1.07m).

In Foxrock, a detached house, Errigal, Kilteragh Pines, Westminster Road, was sold at auction for £810,000 (€1.02m) through Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

Lisney sold 23 Brighton Avenue, Foxrock, a five-bedroom detached house, prior to auction for over £500,000 (€634,869).

Still in Foxrock, Daphne Kaye withdrew a four-bedroom detached house, Tahilla, The Birches on Torquay Road, at £1.4 million (€1.78m) and is now seeking £1.6 million (€2.03m).

In Carrickmines, a five-bedroom detached house, Jamilah, on Brennanstown Vale, was sold at auction for £1.5 million (€1.9m) through Lisney.

In Dun Laoghaire, a five-bedroom house on 0.5 acres, Rutland on Crosthwaite Park South, was withdrawn at £940,000 (€1.19m) by Sherry FitzGerald and sold later for over £1 million (€1.2m).

In Killiney, 3 Anglesea Park was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £460,000 (€584,079).

In Co Wicklow, a two-bedroom stone cottage on 1.6 acres, Combe Pyne, Glenmacnass, Laragh, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good which is seeking £350,000 (€444,408).

Dublin 2 and 4

Gunne Residential fetched over £1.1 million (€1.3m) after auction for 84 Marlborough Road, Donnybrook, a two-storey over garden level four-bedroom Victorian house, immediately after auction.

In Ballsbridge, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 14 Nutley Park was sold at a Gunne Residential auction for £785,000 (€996,744).

On Northumberland Road, Douglas Newman Good fetched £1.15 million (€1.4m) for number 82, a two-storey over garden level period house in four units.

Lisney secured a strong price of £1 million (€1.2m) at auction for a four-bedroom terraced house at 14 St John's Road, Sandymount.

Meanwhile Sherry FitzGerald fetched well over the guide price when it sold a five-bedroom semi-detached house at 11 Strand Road for £885,000 (€1.1m). It had been expected to make over £650,000 (€825,329).

Elsewhere in Sandymount, 22 Wilfield Road, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house, was sold at auction for £415,000 (€526,941) by HOK Residential.

Sherry FitzGerald fetched in the region of £320,000 (€406,316) after auction for 33 Seafort Gardens, Sandymount, a two-bedroom semi-detached house.

Bennetts sold a two-bedroom villa-style house at 43 Tritonville Road at auction for £410,000 (€520,592).

Nearby, at 7 Tritonville Avenue, Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £325,000 (€412,664) for a two-bedroom terraced house following its withdrawal from auction.

In Dublin 2, 12 Stephen's Lane, a three-bedroom mews house at the rear of Upper Mount Street, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which sold it later for about £440,000 (€558,684).

Dublin 6 and 8

On Leeson Park Avenue, number 16, a three-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £625,000 (€793,586).

A four-bedroom Victorian house at 1 Prince Arthur Terrace, Rathmines, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good which is quoting £645,000 (€818,981).

A four-bedroom terraced house at 31 Frankfort Avenue, Rathgar, was sold under the hammer for £345,000 (€438,059) by O'Connor Shannon.

Also in Rathgar, a five-bedroom semi-detached house at 24 Bushy Park Road was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good which is seeking £810,000 (€1.02 million).

North Dublin

A detached four-bedroom house on 18.5 acres, Newpark, The Ward, Co Dublin, was sold at a HOK Residential auction for £730,000 (€926,908).

Private treaty

In Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, Ganly Walters has sold The Old Rectory at Cookstown Lane for a figure believed to be around £1.5 million (€1.9m). The detached six-bedroom former rectory stands on four acres.

Just outside Bray, a five-bedroom home that is part of Hollybrook House, Kilruddery, has been sold for over the asking price of £465,000 (€590,428) by Jackson-Stops.

In Killiney, a split-level 1970s detached bungalow at 12 Coundon Court has made over £650,000 (€825,329) according to Douglas Newman Good.

On Vico Road in Dalkey, Milano, a detached villa-style house has been sold for just under £700,000 (€888,816) by HOK Residential.

Close to Baggot Street Bridge in Dublin 4, Davin Auctioneers has secured over £550,000 (€698,355) for a 1,100 sq ft penthouse apartment at Percy Place.

Provincial

In Co Limerick, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, Monaire, on Lower Shelbourne Road, was sold at auction for £465,000 (€590,428) through Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom bungalow at 2 Leinster Park, Maynooth, Co Kildare was sold at auction by joint agents Coonan and Matt Bruton.

Also in Co Kildare, a four/five-bedroom house on 0.25 acres, San Martin on Millicent Road, Clane, was withdrawn by Property Partners-Brady.

A 200-year-old thatched cottage on 0.5 acres at Cloghertown, Clonalvy, Co Meath was withdrawn at £65,000 (€82,532) and sold later for a higher figure through Grimes.

In Co Louth, a four-bedroom terraced house at 26 Laurence Street, Drogheda, was withdrawn by HOK Residential which is seeking £200,000 (€253,947).

Commercial

In Co Dublin, a 0.7-acre commercial site on Strand Road, Portmarnock, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King which is seeking £1 million (€1.2m).

In Dublin 3, a new public house at East Point Business Park was withdrawn at £940,000 (€1.1m) by Morrisseys, which is seeking £1.25 million (€1.5m).

Palmerstown Credit Union building at 2 Palmerstown Avenue, Dublin 20, was sold at auction for £350,000 (€444,408) by Berkeley & Associates.

In Blackrock, a 5,500 sq ft school building, Rosemount School on Barclay Court, was withdrawn at £3 million (€3.8m) by Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne which is seeking £3.5 million (€4.4m).

In Dundrum, Dublin 14, a 1.5-acre site with planning permission for 27 houses at Finsbury Park was withdrawn at £3 million (€3.8m) and is under negotiation through Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne.

In Dublin 8, a site at 4-5 Meath Mart, Meath Street, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through McNally Handy & Partners.

In Co Kildare, 12.7 acres of land, of which 2.7 acres are zoned for residential development, on Monread Road, Naas, was sold after auction for over £2.5 million (€3.1m) through Colm McEvoy.

Also in Co Kildare, The Leinster Arms pub at The Square, Athy, was withdrawn at £850,000 (€1.07m) by Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne.

In Co Meath, Kilmoon Service Station in Kilmoon, Ashbourne, was withdrawn by joint agents Sherry FitzGerald and Toole McKay which are seeking £750,000 (€952,303).

Near Navan, 23.49 acres of development land at Kentstown was withdrawn at £850,000 (€1.07m) by Smith Auctioneers which is quoting £1 million (€1.2m).

In Co Westmeath, Cunningham's residential pub, along with two shops on Main Street, Ballymore, was withdrawn at £480,000 (€609,474) by Property Partners-James B McDonnell & Co which is seeking £525,000 (€666,612).
