A private investor has paid £1.3 million (€1.65m) for a Georgian office and retail building at 47 Dawson Street, Dublin 2. Four years ago, Friends First sold the same building to Capital Trust Fund Management for around £500,000 (€635,000). The four-storey basement building has 2,495 sq ft and is let to Reed Employment at a rent of £55,000 (€69,850). The net initial yield is 3.9 per cent - possibly a record for the street.
