Dublin 8: from €500,000:Launching from plans this Saturday is a small scheme of 20 own-door apartments at Kilmainham Lane, close to the city centre in Kilmainham, Dublin 8.
Gunne New Homes will be taking bookings at its Ballsbridge offices for two and three-bedroom apartments, priced from €500,000 for two-bedroom plus study apartments of 83sq m (893sq ft).
Three-bedroom apartments of 96sq m (1,033sq ft) cost from €550,000.
The location, reasonably close to the city centre, will attract a buyer looking for a short commute to work. Proximity to the Luas line will provide access to the outer suburbs.
The apartments will be own-door and there will be gated access control.
Underground car-parking spaces can be bought for an additional €30,000.
Features at Kilmainham Lane will include contemporary kitchens with appliances provided for those who return contracts within a specified time. All apartments will have balconies. Broadband compatibility and smart homes technology will also be included.
Developers are Derek and Noel Stenson of Celbridge-based Emerge Properties, who's previous schemes include Chapel View in Lucan. Construction is under way at Kilmainham Lane and apartments are expected to be ready by spring 2007.
