ARE you an interiorista with more dash than cash? Then the Rediscovery Centre’s (01-2225680) Eco Store, at 1-2 The Turnpike, Main Street, Santry Cross, Ballymun, Dublin 11 is an essential little black book address.
The centre has a full-time furniture restorer who reworks furniture given to the centre for recycling. A fireside chair has been reupholstered in a pop-bright print and only costs €80. Another good buy is a shabby chic chest of drawers painted in soft pastels. It’s priced €300. Off The Rails’s Brendan Courtney is already a fan.
