Industrial Things (01-2334600 industrialthings.com) is a new venture for estate agent Simon Stokes of Stokes Property and his wife, Sarah. They've shopped for one-off industrial pieces in Germany, Holland, Belgium and in former Eastern Bloc countries, sourcing metal cabinetry, filing cabinets, cinema seats and old enamel advertising signs. Newly opened Ode Design (086-6772859), 15 Market Square, Navan, Co Meath, is run by interior designer Stephen Carroll.
