The Abbey Shopping Centre, in the centre of Drogheda, may be redeveloped when it is sold at tender on October 21st. The Gunne agency is not indicating any guideline price for the complex which is currently producing £300,000 per year from 32 retail units, a two-screen cinema and bar. Supervalue are the anchor tenants in the centre which has extensive frontage on to the town's main street, West Street, as well as Dominic Street and Patrick's Well Lane. The centre backs on to the quays overlooking the Boyne.
