A TOTAL of 125 acres of land which once formed part of Beechwood Stud at Portmarnock, Co Dublin, is expected to make between £700,000 and £1 million when it is offered for sale by tender on March 19th through joint agents Keane Mahony Smith and Hamilton Osborne King. The land is currently zoned as a green belt but it has long-term development potential. It is being sold by the estate of the late Bill McHenry, a former Wall Street stockbroker. His home, Beechwood House, was sold some years ago along with part of the estate to Malahide Golf Club. The 125 acres are for sale in their entirety or in two lots, one of them 17 acres beside the golf club and a further 108 acres.
