The £3.5 million Killinarden Community Enterprise Centre, being developed to create jobs by providing "enterprise space" and employment training services in Tallaght, has been launched by the Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Mary Harney. The 28,000 sq ft centre will be constructed by Townlink Construction Limited on a 1.5-acre site owned by South Dublin County Council and is due for completion in 12 months. It will comprise 28 light industrial units, training and meeting rooms, a business information centre and library, a restaurant for tenants, trainees and community groups, facilities for community services and a management suite.
