Treasury Holdings has come back to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council with a scaled down planning application for a residential development on a 7.9-acre site off the Brennanstown Road in Cabinteely, Dublin 18.

Benreef Ltd, an associate company of Treasury Holdings, withdrew a previous planning application for 191 apartments and houses in a 30,865sq m (332,228sq ft) scheme on a nine-acre site.

The developer is now looking to build a 25,877sq m (278,537sq ft) development comprising 173 apartments, duplexes and houses on the site which is located between Foxrock and Cabinteely.

It would involve demolishing Knockenree House to the west of the site and building 107 apartments and 12 duplexes units in three blocks with a maximum height of eight storeys.

The apartments would have winter gardens, and either balconies or deck access and there would be 220 car-parking spaces, mostly at basement level.

Treasury is also looking to build 48 three-bedroom houses, four five-bedroom detached houses and two four-bedroom detached houses.

Glendruid House, a protected structure owned by Treasury Holdings, will not be affected by the application.
