Port Harcourt - Several dozen people were missing and presumed drowned after a ferry boat capsized in southeast Nigeria, the captain and local people said yesterday.

According to another report officials said that more than 250 people were missing, feared dead after the overcrowded MV George sank on the Saint Bartholomew river on Thursday evening.
