Cork’s techno and electro stronghold celebrates four years on the go with one of dance music’s French kingpins. Michel Amato is The Hacker, the Grenoble producer who has consistently shown that he knows the ins and outs of superfly electro and techno releases.
Amato is usually best known for his partnership with Caroline Hervé aka Miss Kittin. The duo have been at the forefront of va-va-voom electro since the 2001 Miss Kittin and The Hackeralbum, which put their collaboration (and Grenoble) on the map. In solo mode, Amato has released such albums as 2004's Reves Mecaniques, worked with Alexander Robotnik and David Caretta and provided state- of-the-art remixes for Air and Jori Hulkkonen. There have also been several reunions with Hervé which have led to releases (2007's HometownEP) and tours.
