Galway-based Celtrak, a company that provides integrated vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by Thermo King.

Celtrak, which has partnered with Thermo King since 2005 on its ’TracKing’ telematics product, was founded in 2000.

The company has customers in more than 30 countries and its products are available in 10 languages.

“This is a good fit for the Celtrak business and our employees. For the last decade we’ve had a successful partnership with Thermo King and we’re proud to be a part of the team,” said Declan McAndrew, chief executive of Celtrak.
