Guinness will discover on Monday if it must supply its products to a company accusing it of abusing its dominant position.

The High Court will give its decision on an application for an order directing Guinness Ireland to supply drinks supply company Bartrader. It wants the injunction pending a full hearing of an action in which it is applying for an order to restrain Guinness Ireland Group from allegedly abusing its dominant position in the market for the sale of stout and beer in the State.

Guinness Group denies it is abusing its dominant position or is anti-competitive.
