DHL introduces web tracking service

DHL Worldwide Express has introduced a new service on the Worldwide Web

DHL Worldwide Express has introduced a new service on the Worldwide Web. From next Friday, customers will be able to track their shipments on the web.

To track a shipment, a customer needs only enter the shipment's airbill number (unique to DHL) and the country of origin. The screen will then display the date and time of delivery along with the name of the person who signed for it.

The service is one of a number of new services which DHL will be launching at the Windows World Exhibition in the RDS, Dublin, starting tomorrow.

Billed as Ireland's largest computing exhibition, it is aimed at managers and companies using computer technology.
