The Institute of Certified Public Accountants plans to "demystify" e-commerce when it hosts its annual national conference in UCD next Thursday.

"From Beans to Bytes . . . Using Information Technology for Profit and Growth" will be the theme of the conference which takes place in the O'Reilly Hall, UCD.

Sponsored by Ulster Bank, speakers will include Mr Mike Neary, director of the Information Society Commission; Ms Liz McKeever, director of Amarach Consulting; Mr Jonathan Byrne, head of business e-commerce at Ulster Bank; and Mr Graham Penrose, chief executive officer, Digital Channel Partners.
