The Irish Times Printing Plant has a new opportunity for a Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will work with a highly skilled team that provide a full mechanical maintenance and engineering support to the facility and production processes in the printing plant.
This is a four year apprenticeship programme, involving both classroom work and on-the-job training. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience working in the printing facility while pursuing a qualification through SOLAS.
Candidates should be educated to Leaving Certificate standard. Those sitting the Leaving Certificate in 2019 are eligible to apply. A mechanical aptitude, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also essential qualities that we will be looking for in our Apprentice.
