Galway - John O'Mahony 1997-2000
O'Mahony is in the final year of a three-year contract which saw him deliver the Sam Maguire to Galway in 1998. It remains to be seen if he will choose to continue after this season.
Leitrim - Joe Reynolds 1999-2000
Reynolds was appointed on a one-season basis, which will conclude after Leitrim's current championship run. The post will then be up for review, pending Reynolds' interest.
Mayo - Pat Holmes 1999-2002
Holmes has just completed year one of a three-year term and will continue a rebuilding programme after this summer's exit against Sligo.
Roscommon - Gay Sheerin 1997-2000
Sheerin and his selectors are also managing the junior team, which is scheduled to play an All-Ireland semi-final against Hertfordshire. Sheerin has already served three years and will notify the county board whether he wishes to be considered for further senior involvement after the junior campaign.
Sligo - Mickey Moran 1996-2000
Moran is taking time to consider his future after last Sunday week's disappointing collapse against Galway. That particular result represented a dismal conclusion to four worthwhile years of team building.
Leinster
Carlow - Cyril 1998-2000
Hughes Hughes resigned after Carlow were eliminated at the round robin stage of the championship. The county board are hopeful that a replacement will be announced within two weeks.
Dublin - 1998-ongoing
Tom Carr Carr has met the county board at the conclusion of each championship campaign and has had his appointment ratified each time. Currently preparing Dublin for the Leinster final.
Kildare - Mick O'Dwyer, Annual basis
The county board have an understanding with O'Dwyer where he indicates his intentions at the conclusion of every championship campaign. Having guided Kildare to the All-Ireland final in 1998, it is safe to assume that those concerned would be keen for the Kerryman to continue.
Laois - Tom Cribbin 1999-2000
After this year's championship exit to Westmeath, Tom Cribbin resigned, but he has forwarded his name for selection for the forthcoming season. A selection committee has been established to review the list and an announcement is expected within three weeks.
Longford - Mike McCormack 1997-2001
McCormack's tenure ended this summer but he accepted an invitation to continue for another year.
Louth - Paddy Clarke 1997-2001
After a successful league campaign, which saw Louth clinch the Division Two title and gain promotion, Paddy Clarke's team went down narrowly against Kildare in the championship. He accepted an invitation to take charge for another season.
Meath - Sean Boylan, 1982-ongoing
After this year's shock exit against Offaly, Boylan vowed to maintain tradition. Thus, he is contemplating his position and will inform the county board before September.
Offaly - Padraig Nolan, 1999-ongoing
Nolan succeeded Tommy Lyons at the start of this year's league and enjoyed reasonable success until last Sunday's replay defeat to Kildare. In the aftermath, he expressed his desire to continue.
Wicklow - Moses Coffey 1999-2002
Coffey has just completed the first year of a three-year term.
Westmeath - Brendan Lowry 1997-2000
Lowry's three-year term ended with a loss to Dublin in the Leinster championship semi-final. A four-man committee is working to appoint a successor for next season, with Lowry returning as a candidate.
Wexford - Ger Halligan 1999-2000
Halligan guided his team through the round robin for a first round clash against Dublin in Croke Park. He was appointed on a one-year basis and will inform the county board next Monday if he wishes to continue for another season.
