DCU 0-17 UUJ 1-5:DCU PRODUCED a superb second-half display yesterday to qualify for the final in style and they will go into today's decider against NUI Maynooth as favourites based on this performance.

The star-studded DCU side showed the full extent of their riches when they sprung Donegal’s Michael Murphy and David Kelly of Sligo off the bench and both attackers look set to feature in the decider today having recovered from injury.

As usual, Dean Rock led the way on the scoring front for a DCU side bidding for their third Sigerson title, with Dublin star Paul Flynn landing four excellent points at Dangan in Galway yesterday.

UUJ kept bringing players back behind the ball but Fiontán Ó Curraoin was superb in midfield for DCU and they broke down the Ulster challenge with some superb passing, with another Dublin star, Eoghan O’Gara, winning plenty of frees in front of the posts which Rock converted time and again.
