Soccer:Packages containing bullets were posted to Celtic manager Neil Lennon and player Niall McGinn.

The packages were posted in Northern Ireland and intercepted at a Royal Mail sorting office in County Antrim last Wednesday, according to the Scottish Football Association.

The club's website (www.celticfc.net) said: "It is now a police matter and the club has no further comment to make."

The mail was bound for Celtic Football Club. Police in Northern Ireland said officers were called to Mallusk office on January 5th after postal workers reported suspicions about two items of mail.

He was forced to withdraw from a match against Cyprus in 2002 after receiving death threats and subsequently retired from international soccer.
