Waterford SFC Semi-final/Ardmore 2-5 Stradbally 0-6:Ardmore defeated Stradbally - five-in-a-row county champions from 2001-05 - in a keenly contested encounter at Dungarvan's Fraher Field yesterday.
Ardmore, who have former Tipperary All Star Declan Browne on board in a coaching capacity, are through to their first county final appearance since 1981.
They will play either defending champions Nire or Ballinacourty who meet in the second semi-final next Saturday.
