David Marty has been called up by France as a replacement for injured centre Florian Fritz ahead of Sunday's Six Nations Championship match against Scotland.

Marty, a member of Les Bleus' World Cup squad last year, was left out of coach Marc Lievremont's original 22 after failing to produce his best form for Perpignan this season.

But the 25-year-old, who has 19 caps to his name, will link up with France at their training complex at Marcoussis and is set to start against the Scots at Murrayfield.

Fritz was ruled out for the rest of the tournament after fracturing his fibula in training yesterday.
