Torcedor looks poised for Listed win at Ascot

Credit the Giver can score for Aidan O’Brien in first of the handicaps at Wexford

The classic entry Radiantly is among four Wayne Lordan rides at Leopardstown tomorrow but before she goes in the 1,000 Guineas Trial, her jockey rides Torcedor in the Listed feature at Ascot today.

David Wachman's sole weekend runner could finish only fifth to Bondi Beach on his first start of the season at Limerick last month but the double Curragh winner will enjoy quicker ground when he faces six opponents in the Listed Buckhounds Stakes.

Aidan O'Brien sends Landofhopeandglory to the Lingfield Derby Trial and will also have the Dundalk winner Seventh Heaven in the Oaks Trial.

A handful of O'Brien horses go to Wexford today and even with a 10lb penalty for winning at Naas, Credit The Giver should be the one to beat in the first of the handicaps.
