OFFALY maintained their 100 per cent record - the only team to do so in any division - with a big win over Limerick at Tullamore. They are now promoted and virtually assured of a play-off place in the quarter-finals - they meet Kilkenny in their final game.

Ciaran McManus and Mark Daly top-scored on 0-6 and 1-3, respectively to leave the final score 1-19 to 0-6. Fermanagh will join them in Division Three next season, courtesy of their one-point win over Cnrlow at Enniskillen.

A delightfully struck free by Rory Gallagher in injury time gave them their 1-11 to 1-10 win. They led by five points at one stage of the second half but a strong Carlow comeback topped by a Colm Hayden goal in the 60th minute left them level.

Tipperary had two men sent off against Sligo but held out for a 2-5 to 1-8 draw in Tipperary. Goalkeeper Philip Ryan was sent off for a late tackle on Fintan Kennedy in the 24th minute and was followed by midfielder Derry Foley in the 58th minute. They led at the break 1-4 to 0-3, corner-forward Declan Browne getting the goal after two minutes. They appeared safe when Brian Burke netted their second but three late late points from Sligo forced the draw.
