AUSTRALIA: Australia coach Eddie Jones kept faith with the team which beat Scotland last weekend when he named the same line-up to face France in Paris on Saturday.

"We were reasonably happy with the way we started the tour against Scotland and haven't seen the need to make any changes at this stage," Jones said.

Australia led 28-0 at half-time in Murrayfield but added only three further points to win 31-14.

"This will be one of the biggest tests of the year. Playing France, the Six Nations champions in Paris, in front of a huge crowd is really something the whole team are looking forward to," Jones said.

AUSTRALIA: Latham; Rathbone, Mortlock, Giteau, Tuqiri; Larkham, Gregan (capt); Young, Paul, Baxter, Harrison, Vickerman, Smith, Waugh, Roe. Replacements: Cannon, Dunning, Chisholm, Lyons, Flatley, Rogers, Sailor.

FRANCE: France have called up Toulouse full back Clement Poitrenaud to replace injured centre Damien Traille in their squad for Saturday's Test.

Traille injured his left ankle in training on Tuesday and is almost certain to miss Saturday's game at the Stade de France.

Traille should be replaced by Yannick Jauzion at centre while Poitrenaud would replace Jauzion on the substitutes' bench.

NEW ZEALAND: Former captain Reuben Thorne has been given a surprise call-up by New Zealand as cover for injured lock Jono Gibbes ahead of Saturday's game against Italy in Rome.

Gibbes suffered a calf injury in training this week that could rule him out of the All Blacks' tour, which also includes games against Wales, France and the Barbarians.

NEW ZEALAND: Former All Black winger Jonah Lomu says he is still hopeful of a return to competitive rugby following his kidney transplant earlier this year.

The 29-year-old was speaking at a ceremony in Rome, where he received the Italian Rugby Federation's Rugby Lifestyle Award 2004, as part of the build-up to Saturday's Test.

"Everything is on target at the moment. I'm feeling great," he said. "I've been given the okay to get on with training. In terms of playing, I'm hoping that sometime next year I'll be pulling on a jersey, though the long-term goal is to pull on an All Blacks jersey again."

ENGLAND: Uncapped Saracens forward Hugh Vyvyan has been added to the England replacements for Saturday's game against Canada following the promotion of Andy Hazell to the starting XV.

Hazell, also uncapped, was named in the team late on Tuesday after Joe Worsley was ruled out with a dead leg.

Hazel will play at openside flanker, with Lewis Moody, making his first England appearance since last year's World Cup final, switching to the blindside. Martin Corry will play number eight.

ENGLAND: Robinson (capt); Cueto, Tindall, Paul, Lewsey; Hodgson, Gomarsall; Rowntree, Thompson, White, Grewcock, Borthwick, Moody, Hazell, Corry. Replacements: Titterrell, Sheridan, Kay, Vyvyan, Charlton, Greenwood, Cohen.

CANADA: Coach Rick Suggitt believes the fans are cheated every time sides like his cannot name their strongest possible line-up for a Test match.

The Cannucks take on England at Twickenham on Saturday on the back of a 51-6 drubbing in Italy and are missing players who could prove key to their hopes of putting up a competitive performance.

Neither Newport prop Rod Snow nor Saracens scrumhalf Morgan Williams were considered because they are returning from injuries and Suggitt did not want to risk their professional livelihood.

But Suggitt has instilled an eternally positive environment in the Canadian camp and refuses to get bogged down in political debate.

"I don't feel I have been robbed of players. That is something the IRB, the professional clubs and our home rugby union have to sort out.

"There are three organisations to be able to sit down and thrash out what is good for rugby, what is good for international and then make the balance so when people pay to watch the game they get to watch the best players in the world."
