RACING CURRAGH PREVIEW:RYAN MOORE'S ever-increasing role within the Coolmore empire can get a classic seal at the Curragh tomorrow where the triple-British champion jockey can complete a Group One double on Together in the Etihad Airways Irish 1,000 Guineas.

Just over an hour before the fillies’ classic, Moore gets a leg up for the first time on the Australian superstar So You Think in the Tattersalls Gold Cup and it will be a major shock if the five-time Group One winner Down Under can’t secure a first top-flight European success.

Of his opposition, Campanologist had to go to Germany last year to win a Group One, while admirable and consistent as Famous Name is, he has yet to win above Group Three standard. So You Think should be capable of dealing with them at his leisure.

No such confidence is possible in the Guineas where 15 line up, with Aidan O’Brien saddling four runners in all as he pursues what could be the third leg of a Group One weekend hat-trick that he pulled off three years ago.

Colm O’Donoghue was on board Together when she looked all over the winner of the English Guineas three weeks ago only to be almost mugged on the line by the Godolphin filly Blue Bunting.

It is a concern that Together hasn’t won in her last seven races but with O’Donoghue switching to the French Guineas third Wild Wind, Moore steps in for Together with Séamus Heffernan on Misty For Me and Joseph O’Brien on board Look At Me.

The latter was in season when only sixth behind Emiyna in the Athasi and any significant rain over the weekend could help her chances of reversing that form, while the ultra-consistent Banimpire and Pat Fahy’s Ballybacka Lady would be popular winners.

However, Together looked a different proposition at Newmarket and it’s worth backing she turns up in the same sort of form this time.

It could be a big afternoon generally for Moore as he is also on board the newcomer Foot Soldier in the opening juvenile maiden, while Moriarty can get the better of the home team in the Group Three Gallinule Stakes.
