A point in the fourth and final minute of injury-time by substitute Liam O’Sullivan decided the contest after Cork had hit back in a hectic closing spell.

Cork substitutes James O’Brien, with two points, and Anthony Spillane, with a goal four minutes from the end of regulation time, restored parity until O’Sullivan’s winner.
