LOUTH ENDED a disappointing league campaign on a high note to preserve their Division Three status at the Gaelic Grounds in Drogheda yesterday. Eamonn McEneaney’s side needed a win to avoid dropping into the bottom tier and they produced a brave late charge to see off Cavan, who made a whirlwind start, with two goals in the first 12 minutes from Pádraig Reilly and Michael Lyng.
